The countdown to a new school year is on, and District 186 is excited to welcome students, families, staff, and community members to the 2nd Annual Community Back-to-School Event on Thursday, July 30, 2026.
The Community Back-to-School Event serves as a one-stop destination for families preparing for the upcoming school year while strengthening connections between schools, families, and the community.

The Sectional Track Meet has been moved up to tomorrow, Friday May 15th, due to inclement weather forecasted over the weekend and into next week. The meet is at Gillespie High School - 612 Broadway St, Gillespie, IL 62033. The bus will depart LMS at 9:15 am and BCS at 9:30 am. The meet starts at 12:00 pm.
The Track Meet scheduled for today at Memorial Stadium has been canceled due to weather. No practice.
