Information:
The SHS Summer running program will begin on Monday June 30th at 7 am! The Camp
will run for 5 weeks ending on July 31st. This camp is open to all high school and junior high
runners in the Springfield area. Each day we will meet, warm up, stretch and train to prepare for
the upcoming fall cross country season. Athletes will learn proper running technique and learn
the keys to having a successful season. Championship runners are built in the summer, and our
summer running program has been a key factor in our continued success as a program at SHS.
Please bring your signed rules of the road paper to practice with your camp fee on the
first day you are able to attend. You can pay weekly, or pay the entire amount upfront to coach
Cotner. I am excited to continue to build our summer running program and excited for the
athletes to continue to build our championship culture at Springfield High School.
Equipment needed: Running Shoes, water bottle, running shorts/shirt.
Please send your name and address to Coach Cotner at tcotner@sps186.org and please sign up
for text reminders through REMIND 101 regarding workout cancellations and announcements:
